3. Quotations and Pricing
All prices and quotations are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time.
A quotation may change if:
- Measurements are incorrect or incomplete
- Additional work is required
- Subfloor preparation is needed
- Product availability or supplier pricing changes
- Delivery or fitting requirements change
- The customer requests changes to the order
Unless stated otherwise, quotations are valid for a limited period and may be withdrawn or revised at any time before payment or order confirmation.
4. Orders
An order is only confirmed once we have accepted it and any required payment or deposit has been received.
Customers must ensure all order details are correct, including product type, colour, measurements, delivery address, fitting requirements, and contact details.
Once an order has been processed, cut, ordered from suppliers, or prepared for delivery/fitting, changes or cancellations may not always be possible.
5. Measurements
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements unless we carry out a professional measuring service.
Where we provide measuring services, the customer must ensure access is available to all required areas.
We are not responsible for issues caused by inaccurate measurements provided by the customer.
6. Deposits and Payments
We may require a deposit before processing an order or booking a fitting/installation.
The remaining balance must be paid as agreed, usually before or on completion of delivery or fitting.
We reserve the right to delay delivery, fitting, or release of products until payment has been received.
All products remain the property of Wolverhampton Carpet Ltd until full payment has been received.
7. Delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver products within the agreed timeframe. However, delivery times are estimates and may be affected by supplier delays, stock availability, transport issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the agreed address and time.
If delivery fails due to incorrect information, lack of access, or customer unavailability, additional delivery charges may apply.
8. Fitting and Installation
Where fitting or installation is arranged, the customer must ensure:
- The fitting area is clear and accessible
- Old flooring, furniture, or obstacles are removed unless otherwise agreed
- Electricity and lighting are available where needed
- The property is safe for our fitters to work in
- Any pets or children are kept away from the work area
Additional charges may apply for:
- Moving furniture
- Removing old flooring
- Door trimming
- Subfloor preparation
- Unexpected repairs or levelling
- Additional materials or labour
We are not responsible for delays or extra costs caused by poor access, unsuitable subfloors, damp, uneven surfaces, hidden damage, or other site-related issues.
9. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you to offer an alternative product, revised timeframe, or refund where applicable.
10. Cancellations
Cancellation rights depend on the type of order.
Made-to-measure, cut-to-size, special order, personalised, or custom flooring products may not be eligible for cancellation once processing has started.
For standard stock items, cancellations may be accepted if the order has not yet been processed, delivered, fitted, or collected.

11. Returns and Refunds
Returns may be accepted for eligible standard products if they are unused, undamaged, in original condition, and returned within the agreed period.
We may refuse returns for:
- Cut-to-size flooring
- Made-to-measure products
- Special order items
- Installed or fitted products
- Used or damaged products
- Products damaged after delivery or collection
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
Delivery, fitting, and service charges may not be refundable once the service has been provided.
12. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Customers should inspect products as soon as possible after delivery or collection.
If goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us promptly with your order details and photographs where possible.
We may offer a repair, replacement, refund, or suitable alternative depending on the circumstances.
We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, incorrect cleaning, poor maintenance, unsuitable conditions, or third-party installation.
